Damascus, Syria — At least one civilian was killed and fifteen others wounded on Wednesday after the pro-regime air force bombarded the city of Duma in Damascus countryside.
Speaking to ARA News from Damascus, civil rights activist Ahmad Sabbagh said that the pro-regime warplanes targeted the city center with guided missiles, killing one civilian and wounding fifteen others. “The injured were transferred to nearby field hospitals.”
Meanwhile, the pro-regime helicopter gunships targeted with explosive barrels the village of Kafr al-Zeit in Barada valley near Damascus, killing two civilians and wounding dozens others.
These developments coincided with artillery shelling by the regime military forces on the town of Taiba, without recording casualties.
Local sources also reported that Maliha town in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus countryside was targeted with ground-to-ground rockets launched from the regime-held Mezzeh military airport, as similar strike hit the city of Adra al-Balad, from the surrounding regime-held barriers.
