Iraq Yezidis: fled Islamists, hosted by Syria Kurds

Since militants of the Islamic State (IS) controlled the Yezidi area of Shingal in northern Iraq, the majority of Yezidis escaped their homes for fear of persecution and slaughter on hands of IS, thousands of Iraq Yezidis reportedly cross into Syria everyday, where Kurdish peers provide them with basic supplies. These are some exclusive images from Newroz camp near Derik, northeast of Syria, where Yezidi families received shelter.
