Daraa, Syria – Three members of a Syrian family were reported dead on Thursday due to aerial bombardment by the pro-regime helicopters on the city of Da’el in Daraa province, south of Syria.
Speaking to ARA News, Mohammed al-Hissan, civil rights activist based in the city of Daraa, reported that the pro-Assad military helicopters targeted residential neighbourhoods in the city with explosive barrels, killing three civilians from one family, in addition to the injury of dozens who were transferred to a field hospital in Da’el.
The city of Nawa in Daraa province was also targeted on Thursday with explosive barrels, dropped from military helicopters, causing large damage in residential buildings and a state of panic among civilians, without recording casualties.
Meanwhile, clashes renewed on Thursday evening between rebels of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) ad pro-Assad military forces at the outskirts of Daraa city, amid reports about the bombardment of areas in the nearby city of Inkhil by the Syrian air force. At least one civilian was killed.
On the other hand, the rebels of the FSA targeted gatherings of the pro-regime military forces in the city of Bosra al-Sham in Daraa with mortars and homemade rockets, causing casualties among the regime forces.
