Damascus, Syria – On Friday, warplanes of the U.S.-led international coalition targeted military units of militants fighters of the Islamic State radical group (IS/ISIS).
At least 20 IS militants were killed when coalition air forces hit locations of the group at the Syrian-Iraqi border.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, several explosions hit the town of Shaddadi near Hasakah province in northeastern Syria following airstrikes by the U.S.-led coalition.
The air strikes also claimed the life of one civilian in the town.
