Syrian rebels control last regime military base in Idlib

Aleppo, Syria – On Wednesday, Syrian rebels have reportedly seized the last major army base in north-western Idlib province, military sources reported.  

Pro-Assad army forces withdrew from the Mastouma military base after days of clashes with rebel factions of al-Fatih Army. 

Syrian rebels of the al-Fatih Army launched earlier on Tuesday an extensive military attacks against pro-Assad forces in the vicinity of the base in Idlib province, 

A member of the al-Fatih Army told ARA News that the rebels have stormed the military base of Mastouma and took control of it on Wednesday.
