Aleppo, Syria – On Wednesday, Syrian regime’s warplanes targeted the towns of Darat Aza and al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo with guided missiles and barrel bombs, causing the death of at least 22 people, locals reported.

Speaking to ARA News, Zakaria Dilo, a civilian who survived the massacre of Darat Aza, said that pro-Assad’s warplanes pounded the town of Darat Aza with several missiles, killing 12 civilians and wounding dozens others, some of them are in critical conditions.

The attack also caused a widespread destruction in the town.

Meanwhile, pro-regime helicopters hit the town of Tadaf east of al- Bab with at least four barrels bombs, killing 10 civilians and wounding more than a dozen others,” an eyewitness told ARA News.

In response to the regime’s attack, opposition forces targeted the regime-held villages of Nubbul, Zahra, Kufriya and al-Foua with dozens of Grad rockets and homemade shells, opposition sources said on Wednesday.

Syrian armed opposition accuses the government security forces of committing “massacres” against civilians in the rebel-held areas by dropping barrel bombs on residential buildings.
